Day trips from Amsterdam

Day trips from Amsterdam

Travel Guides / Inspiration

The convenience of being in a small country is the facility of moving around within a couple of hours. Cities are close enough and allow us to explore the surrounds whilst we bring joy to ourselves facing new landscapes and fresh environments. In the Netherlands this proves to be right. Plus, we can get it all: beaches, hills, forests, urban life, medieval villages, and much more.

Gastronomy in The Hague

Gastronomy in The Hague

Living / Gastronomy

I have already imagined myself living in Den Haag inumerous times, not only because the cost of living is infinitely lower than the capital Amsterdam, but also because it has a very special personality, far from a certain chaos that inhabits Amsterdam. If I were living there, these would be the places I would certainly most often go to:

Madurodam: the miniature city

Madurodam: the miniature city

Culture / Experiences

Near the beach is Madurodam, a miniature town that appeals to adults and children and immaculately reproduces some of the most important or picturesque cities of Holland, as well as monuments, museums, factories and so on. This is a tour worthwhile for anyone.

The Hague: love at first sight

Travel Guides / Cities / Netherlands / The Hague (Den Haag)

It was love at first sight. It has a very peculiar charm, with a countryside feeling, but full of pomp like a big city. It is difficult to explain what delighted me the most in this city that may be considered one of the most important ones in Holland, together with Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

My beloved Holland: far from the stereotypes

My beloved Holland: far from the stereotypes

Travel Guides / Inspiration

I have always been questioned about my obsessive love for the Netherlands, and I still find myself searching for the most different explanations for something that seems particularly obvious to me, but for many - if not most – believe that I'm just being eccentric.
